On the Dubble.

To color or not to color? Things could go great--I like to think I've got quite the handle on polka dotted kerchiefs. There's nice opportunity here for some florid complexioning and those trees would be a breeze. But something's holding me back--something more than an extended weekend absence and the look of warning from a dandy candlestick maker. Sometimes that fourth wall cracks for a reason.

I'll come back to it.

I remember Tunney's class, after working on a painting for a few days and putting a lot of effort into it, wishing I could simply "save as" every so often. Just in case I got too bold or too experimental and ended up ruining the good thing I had before. Why everything can't come with multiple save points, I'll never know.

Unfortunately, I improved just as many paintings as ruined by taking that extra step, so I got nothin' fer ya.

I do like this one, though. I would live on this land.
